Shipping Information
At Discount Furniture Net, we have spent countless hours in attempts to
determine the safest, most reliable shipping method for each product offered on
our site. In order to expedite the process, there are three modes of delivery
utilized by Discount Furniture Net.
Small Parcel: When possible, we will ship smaller, lighter items via FedEx
Ground. This company provides the fastest and most reliable delivery for many
of the items we sell. Depending on your proximity to the warehouse the merchandise
will ship from, your purchase should arrive between 7-10 business days after
the product(s) leave the warehouse. For insurance purposes, we will require an
adult signature for each package delivered.
White Glove Delivery: Many items we sell are too heavy to be shipped via our
small parcel carrier. Therefore, the best method of shipping for these items is
through a truck freight carrier. As part of our “Free Shipping”*, Discount
Furniture Net will arrange for an in-home delivery of your purchase. This White
Glove Service includes:
• Delivery agent closest to customer delivery address will contact customer to
arrange a delivery appointment.
• Appointments are normally scheduled between Monday and Friday in an
appointment time period of 2-5 hours.**
• 2-man delivery inside home to room of choice (up to two flights of stairs),
with unpacking and light product setup***, and removal of debris.
• No electrical hookup is allowed or included in service.
• Delivery may take anywhere from 1-6 weeks from the time your order is placed,
depending on warehouse location and proximity.
• With White Glove Delivery, the product and its packaging must be inspected at
time of delivery. If there is any damage to either the product or packaging, or
there is necessary reason to believe the welfare of the product may be
questionable, please denote clearly the problem on the shipping receipt the
delivery driver will ask you to sign. This method insures that if there is a
significant problem, it may be more easily remedied with less customer
liability.
Additional Important Shipping Information
1.) Because of the proximity of various warehouses, as well as the large number
of products from as many vendors on the site, please be aware that you may
receive your purchase in more than one shipment.
2.) If the merchandise ships directly from the manufacturer, in some cases, the
products will not be fully assembled.
3.) Due to freight and shipping restrictions, at this time Discount Furniture
Net can only ship to destinations located within the Continental United States.
*Even when purchased with “free shipping”, shipping is not really free. As part
of our pricing model, shipping is included so that there are no “surprises”
when you go to pay for your items. In reality, the shipping costs for bulky,
heavy items can be expensive. We include the shipping costs for items in an
effort to present the most straightforward and honest price to all of our
customers. In the event of a return for reason other than damage or defect, the
cost of the shipping will be the responsibility of the consumer making the
return. **For Remote or Mountainous locations, delivery window may be extended.
***”Light Setup” includes minimal setup and use of minimal tools only up to 30
minutes. There are some items that, due to liability, delivery drivers may be
unable to assist in assembly.
Returns/Exchanges
At the Discount Furniture Network, we take pride in the quality of
products we make available to our online consumers. With each purchase you make
with us, we strive for absolute customer satisfaction. Our shipments are
carefully inspected before leaving the warehouse, but in the event that you may
not be fully satisfied with your purchase, please read the returns/exchanges
policies below.
Discount Furniture Net Returns and Exchange Policy
We take pleasure in the high quality/great price products available to our
online consumers. Our shipments are carefully inspected and packaged
before leaving the warehouse. With proper shipping and product care, all
of our furniture should arrive in pristine condition. However, in the
event that you may not find yourself fully satisfied with your online purchase,
we guarantee that you will not be stuck with a damaged or disliked item.
Upon delivery of your purchase, prior to signing the shipping receipt,
carefully open and inspect items for any damage or defects. Should you
notice any damage or defects, note them on the shipping receipt
clearly. Be sure to get a copy of this shipping receipt (“Bill of
Lading”) before the delivery person leaves. If this event occurs, please
contact our customer service immediately (within 48 hours) to guarantee no
additional costs or liability to you. If you do not contact us within the
48-hour time frame, additional fees may be applicable.
We do not allow delivery refusal. If you miss your delivery appointment
(s), or return a non-defective or undamaged product for any reason including,
but not limited to size, color, dislike, you will incur original shipping charges
along with actual return shipping fees. Return shipping fees can range
from $100 to $600, depending on the size and weight of the product.
We carefully inspect all customer returns upon arrival at the warehouse.
Any items not in their original and new conditions may qualify for a partial
refund of the product’s price. This refund will include deductions for
original shipping as well as the return shipping fees.
In the event that you may find yourself dissatisfied with your furniture
purchase choice, please return within 10 days (by requesting Return
Authorization from our customer service department) for a full cost refund
minus the original shipping charge* and return shipping fees. In order to
receive a full refund, the item must be in original packaging, non-assembled,
and in original condition. There will be a 20% restocking fee for
returned items. There is no return for closeout items, RTA, or any other
item previously specified. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for
products that have been assembled or modified. Additionally, certain
products cannot be returned because neither we, nor our vendors, can take them
back. If you have a question as to whether a product can be returned,
please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service department.
*Return Authorization
In order to return items, prior return authorization is required by calling
1-800-977-7691, or by emailing Support@DiscountFurnitureNet.com. Failure to
obtain return authorization will result in your return to be refused by our
warehouse and shipped back to you at your cost.
Please keep in mind that once an order has shipped, it cannot be
canceled. Orders canceled prior to shipping will incur a 5%
cancellation fee
Expect to receive your refund within four weeks from shipping your return to
Discount Furniture Net stores. This includes conservative estimates of
the total time required for return shipping, product inspection, and processing
time from your bank or Credit Card Company. We will notify you via email
with the details of your refund. You will receive your refund via the
form of payment originally used for purchase.

All items come with a 1-year Manufacturer’s warranty in the event that there is a manufacturing defect.

We have partnered with a warranty services firm to provide our customers a security unparalleled in the online furniture business. By purchasing this offered additional coverage, the original 1-year warranty redeemable for manufacturer defects is extended to 5 years of complete customer care.
